What’s New in 2026
Know Before You Go: Surest PPO Plan
Acadia is adding an additional medical plan through UMR: the Surest PPO Plan. Surest is designed to give you more control of cost and coverage. When you receive care, you pay a copay — set dollar amount — and can see that price before making an appointment. Having the ability to see costs up front means you’ll be able to plan ahead. Use the Surest app for Apple or Android to look up the care you need, check costs and compare options, and choose the provider that works for your family and budget. You’ll also have access to the same broad network of providers as the other Acadia medical plans. See how it works at surest.care/Acadia (Access code: Acadia 2026).
Vida Health for Weight Loss and Chronic Conditions
Vida is a free virtual health program for those participating in our UMR medical plan to help you maintain a healthy weight and manage or prevent conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Boost to Employer-Paid Short-Term Disability
Acadia has increased employer-paid Short-Term Disability benefit to 60% (previously 50%) of your weekly earnings, up to the maximum of $1,500.
HealthEquity Replaces WEX
If you enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and elect a Health Savings Account (HSA), you will access your HSA through HealthEquity. Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Dependent Care FSAs will also be managed through HealthEquity.
Additional Personal Day
Acadia will offer an additional personal day for regular/full-time employees to support overall wellness.
